Abstract Submission

PULMOCRIT 2026 – Abstract Submission Guidelines

 

General Instructions

  • Abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the AIIMS Pulmocrit 2026 online abstract submission portal.
    Submissions sent via email or by any other means will not be considered.

  • Only abstracts that fully comply with these guidelines will be eligible for review and inclusion in the abstract book, conference proceedings, or associated journal publications.

 

Authorship Guidelines

  • Each presenting author may submit a maximum of two abstracts.

  • The presenting author will be listed as the first author by default.

  • A maximum of six authors is permitted per abstract.

  • For each author, please provide:

    • Full name (Write full name of each author. For example – Mohan Bhargava, Sandeep Soni, Geeraja Kumar etc)

    • Department (Write full name of the department where the study was conducted. For example – Department of Pulmonary Medicine or Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine or Department of Respiratory Medicine etc)

    • Institution name (Write full name of the institute or hospital where the study was conducted. For example – Government Medical College, Chennai, Tamilnadu)

  • Please designate one corresponding author and provide their email ID clearly. All communications related to the abstract will be sent to corresponding author.

 

Abstract Format

  • Word Limit: Maximum 300 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations, and keywords).

  • Do not include references, figures, or tables.

  • Provide 3–7 keywords.

 

For Original Research / Systematic Reviews / Meta-Analyses, structure the abstract under:

  1. Introduction

  2. Methods

  3. Results

  4. Conclusions

 

For Case Reports, structure the abstract under:

  1. Introduction

  2. Case Presentation

  3. Discussion

 

Submission Timeline

  • Up to 19 February 2026: Eligible for both oral and poster presentation consideration.

  • Between 20 February and 26 February 2026: Will be considered only for poster presentations.

  • Submissions will not be accepted after 26 February 2026.

 

Selection & Notification

  • The oral presentation slots are limited and highly competitive.
    Abstracts not selected for oral sessions will automatically be considered for poster presentation.

  • Notification of acceptance and details of presentation format (oral/poster) will be sent approximately two weeks before the conference.
